Begin your learning journey by gaining foundational knowledge in five key areas: Bias, Stereotypes & Microaggressions, Race and Anti-Racism, LGBTQ+ Identities and Culture, Ableism and Inclusion, and Allyship and Advocacy. This combination of modules provides broad-based knowledge and strategies which can be immediately applied in your workplace, your community, and during interpersonal interactions. No matter what your current role and DEI interest, beginning with a strong foundation will leave you feeling confident and empowered to focus on special topics of interest later in the course.
This course also includes the DEI Special Topic of Inclusive Workplace. No matter your role in the workplace environment, developing awareness of the various dimensions of diversity, including race, gender, ethnicity, and generational differences, is an excellent place to begin one’s learning journey. This course goes beyond awareness to explore how participants can use knowledge of Cultural intelligence, Masculinities in the Workplace, and the ability to create Strategies for Workplace Inclusiveness, to create and maintain an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment.
